Ryan Wainwright-Meekins is an accomplished musical director, conductor, and vocalist with a diverse and thriving career as a head of Music for a multi academy trust. Known for his dynamic leadership and deep understanding of both classical and contemporary musical traditions, Ryan has worked with choirs, orchestras, jazz bands, and a cappella groups, consistently bringing his expertise and passion to the ensembles he directs.

Ryan began his musical journey at the age of six, with the Salvation Army, finding a love for brass bands and choral singing. He eventually went on to study Music at Anglia Ruskin University. During this time, he honed his vocal skills as a member of a mixed-voice quartet and performed with several Cambridge-based choirs; his experience and music education laid the foundation for his later achievements in conducting and music direction. He continued his academic and musical development at the University of Cambridge, where he pursued postgraduate studies, further refining his conducting skills and gaining extensive experience performing in the university's prestigious choirs. Throughout his career, Ryan has toured the world, performing in iconic venues and recording a range of CD projects. His choral work has taken him to multiple continents, and he has had the privilege of performing alongside some of the finest musicians and vocalists in the industry.
